Jahrhunderts, wobei die konkrete Materialit\u00e4t der Erscheinungsform sowie deren rezeptions\u00adsteuernde Potentiale den methodischen Ausgangspunkt bilden sollen. Die spezifische Temporalit\u00e4t und Materi\u00ada\u00adlit\u00e4t von Journalliteratur steuert Prozesse der Bedeutungsgenerierung und -\u00fcberlagerung, deren Voraus\u00adsetzungen ebenso zu untersuchen sind wie ihre Folgen. Gefragt wird entsprechend nach materialiter offerierten Lekt\u00fcre\u00adwegen und Leserichtungen, nach Formen der Reflexion von Journalmedialit\u00e4t sowie nach journalspezifischen Formatlogiken und Rezeptionspraktiken. Fallstudien sind ebenso willkommen wie historisch und international vergleichende Darstellungen oder medienkomparatistische Unter\u00adsuchungen<\/p>\n<p>\/\/<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the international conference \u201cLekt\u00fcreabbruch \u2013 Anschlu\u00dflekt\u00fcren: Journale lesen\u201d (\u201cInterrupted Reading \u2013 Follow-on Readings: Reading Journals\u201d) is to examine journals of the 19<sup>th<\/sup> and early 20<sup>th<\/sup> century, taking the concrete materiality of the journal\u2019s form of publication, and its potential to govern reception, as a methodological starting point. The specific temporality and materiality of journal literature governs processes of generation and superimposition of meaning, and both the conditions and the consequences of these processes will be explored. Areas of enquiry will therefore include materially offered reading paths and directions of reading, forms of reflection on journal mediality, and journal-specific logics of format and practices of reception. Case studies are welcome, as are historical and international comparisons, or work in the area of comparative media studies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Einreichungen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zur Tagung sind f\u00fcr eine L\u00e4nge von 25 Minuten konzipierte Vortr\u00e4ge eingeladen. Tagungssprachen sind generell Englisch und Deutsch, doch sind auch Vortr\u00e4ge auf Franz\u00f6sisch willkommen. Reise- und \u00dcbernachtungskosten werden von der veranstaltenden Forschergruppe \u00fcbernommen.
